Master’s Programme on Field Archaeology on Land and Under the Sea

The Graduate School of the University of Cyprus (http://www.ucy.ac.cy/graduateschool/en/admissions/postgraduate-programmes-places)  announces the opening of ten (10) places for the postgraduate programme in Field Archaeology on Land and Under the Sea (Webpage: http://www.ucy.ac.cy/field_arch/en/)

Candidates should hold a degree in Archaeology, History, Classics, Anthropology or other related fields of research (History of Art, Architecture, Geography, Geology, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering).
Graduates of the University of Cyprus and Greek Universities must have an undergraduate diploma with a cumulative grade of 6,5 or higher. The equivalent is required for graduates from other universities. The applicants must also speak English at a satisfactory level.
A short statement (up to 650 words) of personal goals and research interests, in English should be included in the application. Candidates who meet the necessary requirements will be called for an interview.

The submission of applications for the postgraduate programmes for Fall Semester 2020/2021 expires on 03/04/20 at 12:00 noon.

Scholarships for newcomers Master Students

Η Σχολή Μεταπτυχιακών Σπουδών του Πανεπιστημίου Κύπρου (http://www.ucy.ac.cy/graduateschool/el/admissions/postgraduate-programmes-places), προκυρήσει δέκα (10) θέσεις για το μεταπτυχιακό πρόγραμμα Χερσαία και Υποβρύχια Αρχαιολογία Πεδίου (http://www.ucy.ac.cy/field_arch/el/)


Οι υποψήφιοι θα πρέπει να έχουν πτυχίο από αναγνωρισμένα πανεπιστήμια σε έναν από τους παρακάτω κλάδους: Αρχαιολογία, Ιστορία, Κλασικές Σπουδές, Ανθρωπολογία ή άλλους σχετικούς ερευνητικούς τομείς (Ιστορία τέχνης, Αρχιτεκτονική, Γεωγραφία, Γεωλογία, Φυσική, Χημεία, Μηχανική). Οι απόφοιτοι πανεπιστημίων της Κύπρου ή της Ελλάδας θα πρέπει να έχουν βαθμό πτυχίου τουλάχιστον 6,5. Για τους απόφοιτους άλλων πανεπιστημίων ισχύει το όριο που αντιστοιχεί στον βαθμό αυτό. Απαραίτητη προϋπόθεση είναι η γνώση της αγγλικής γλώσσας σε ικανοποιητικό επίπεδο.

Η αίτηση περιλαμβάνει σύντομο υπόμνημα των ερευνητικών ενδιαφερόντων του υποψηφίου, το οποίο πρέπει να είναι γραμμένο στην αγγλική γλώσσα και να μην υπερβαίνει τις 650 λέξεις. Οι υποψήφιοι που πληρούν τα απαιτούμενα προσόντα θα καλούνται σε προσωπική συνέντευξη.

Η υποβολή αιτήσεων μέσω του συστήματος στα μεταπτυχιακά προγράμματα για το Χειμερινό Εξάμηνο 2020/2021 λήγει στις 03/04/20 και ώρα 12:00 το μεσημέρι.
