italian-studies: Scholarly discussions in any field of Italian studies

Dear Colleagues,

I am writing to bring to your attention an Italian book series that may be of interest to you and your students/colleagues, and which is currently open for proposals.

The "La scena e l'ombra" series, published by Vecchiarelli (Manziana, RM), was founded in 1996 and specializes in texts and studies on Italian theatre from the sixteenth to the eighteenth centuries. The series aims to make available neglected dramatic texts and other short works on theoretical and practical aspects of theatre which enrich our understanding of the cultural milieu during the period of early modernity. Shorter monographic studies on related topics from the same period are also published in the series. Proposals for publications in this field are welcome from established and early career scholars.

For further questions please contact the General Editor of the series, Paola Cosentino, [log in to unmask]. See also the website: www.vecchiarellieditore.it

Cari Colleghi,
