Dear all

Apologies for the repeated emails but I'm happy to confirm that we will be streaming the video and audio of the meeting for most (but not all) presentations via https://my.sightlink.net/meet/68804172/<https://eur01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fmy.sightlink.net%2Fmeet%2F68804172%2F&data=02%7C01%7C%7C5238fded8c254c5b2ef808d7a668da68%7C1faf88fea9984c5b93c9210a11d9a5c2%7C0%7C0%7C637160841573761268&sdata=qJAdi%2B%2FCQBoviGdoLuUca%2BDKzz13TOjyQT3YfI0KAdQ%3D&reserved=0>. The link will go live just before the meeting, and should be accessible from within the browser (no download necessary). It will also be possible to ask questions remotely, although questions from the room will be given priority.

Kind regards

Subject: symposium on current technical challenges in clinical research with PET/MR (5th of Feb) and presentations from our Symposium on Synergistic Image Reconstruction

Dear all

We have been able to extend the registration deadline for our symposium on current technical challenges in clinical research with PET/MR (see below) till the 28th of January noon. We currently have about 70 participants registered but have space for more. Please check http://www.cvent.com/d/whq6sm<https://eur01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.cvent.com%2Fd%2Fwhq6sm&data=02%7C01%7C%7C929b4c63f2bf4eeea80e08d793932181%7C1faf88fea9984c5b93c9210a11d9a5c2%7C0%7C0%7C637140132449351024&sdata=KN11MzEtUFMUeWbWN0YWWfcYDb49QPoa%2Fop59oISiu4%3D&reserved=0> for more info, including the current list of already agreed speakers. We hope to have a preliminary schedule up early next week.

I'm also very happy to announce that most of the presentations of our previous Symposium on synergistic image reconstruction from November 2019 are now available online at
https://www.ccppetmr.ac.uk/symposium2019
Currently this page contains PDFs of the slides (please respect the CC-BY-NC-ND license). Video recordings will be added in the near future. I'd like to thank the speakers of our symposium for allowing us to do this, providing a valuable resource to the community.

We are currently looking into possibility of streaming/recording our next symposium, but attendance in person will allow for more discussions of course.

Do check the main CCP PETMR website<https://www.ccppetmr.ac.uk/> for other events next week, including a Software Meeting on motion correction and a talk by Dr C Kolbitsch (PTB, Berlin, Germany) at UCL on motion correction for cardiac PET/MR.

It's a busy period for CCP PETMR, while we're nearing the end of our 5 year EPSRC grant. I'm very happy to announce that our renewal bid has been successful. CCP PETMR will continue as CCP SyneRBI! More on that in due course (on a smaller distribution list). Our sister network CCPi will also continue for another 5 years.

Hope to see you at one of our activities.

Kind regards

Subject: symposium on current technical challenges in clinical research with PET/MR (5th of Feb): registration now open

Dear all

The EPSRC-funded CCP in PET/MR imaging<http://www.ccppetmr.ac.uk/> and the UCL/UCLH Institute of Nuclear Medicine<https://www.ucl.ac.uk/nuclear-medicine/> are inviting you to a meeting on current technical challenges in clinical research using PET/MR. The meeting intends to provide a platform for discussions on how to overcome the remaining barriers in adopting PET/MR in large clinical trials, while also looking at mechanisms for translation of research methods into practice.

Date and venue: Wednesday 5th of February, 10:30-15:00. Wellcome Collection, 183 Euston Rd, London NW1 2BE (near UCL), UK.

Topics:

PET/MR QA phantoms and harmonisation

Motion correction: current methods

Research software for PET/MR: needs and pathways to translation

The event will be free and travel will be refunded for speakers. More details including a registration form (mandatory) giving the opportunity to submit an abstract are at http://www.cvent.com/d/whq6sm<https://eur01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.cvent.com%2Fd%2Fwhq6sm&data=02%7C01%7C%7C929b4c63f2bf4eeea80e08d793932181%7C1faf88fea9984c5b93c9210a11d9a5c2%7C0%7C0%7C637140132449351024&sdata=KN11MzEtUFMUeWbWN0YWWfcYDb49QPoa%2Fop59oISiu4%3D&reserved=0>. This link is also available on https://www.ucl.ac.uk/nuclear-medicine/upcoming-events and http://www.ccppetmr.ac.uk/node/231. Please register before the 22nd of January.

Feel free to forward to your colleagues. Apologies in advance for cross-posting.

Best wishes for 2020!
