Archivist / Records Manager: Brunel University London Archives, Uxbridge

Salary Grade (H2): £35,963 to £42,488 per annum (incl. of London Allowance)
Full-time, fixed term (12 months)
We are looking for an experienced and driven Archivist and Records Manager to manage the full life cycle of Brunel's institutional archives and records.
You will play a prominent role in the development and promotion of the archives and records including managing enquiries, as well as cataloguing, developing and applying retention periods. In addition, you will manage the confidential destruction of records as required and help out with exhibitions.
The successful candidate should be educated to degree level or equivalent, with a recognised postgraduate qualification in archives and records management. It is essential that you have experience in both archives and records management with all record formats and knowledge of relevant legislation eg. GDPR.
Excellent communication, time management, strong influencing and persuading skills are also vital. You should be self-motivated with an ability to work on your own and as part of a small team. Project management skills and a familiarity with CALM for archives and records management would be desirable.
