Thanks everyone. I am completely in agreement. I’ve advised HR that GP cannot provide evidence to support his opinion that it’s work related and in fact a Specialist Occupational MSK physio has clearly stated in their report it’s not work related so I’ve advised them to go with that. We are a nurse/physio led service with no OHP. I feel the physio report is enough in this case. They are concerned that they still need to report it as RIDDOR and let HSE decide!
