medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture Happy New Year! I posted on this listserv a while back in connection with a project on the legend about Thomas Becket's Saracen mother and received some extremely helpful feedback. I continue to work on the same project and am now hoping to incorporate an analysis of illustrations of the legend. So far, I have only been able to identify one manuscript depicting Becket's mother (the Queen Mary Psalter--BL Royal 2BVII). Does anyone on this list know of any other manuscripts depicting the arrival in England, conversion, and marriage of Thomas Becket's Saracen mother? Thank you so much for all of your help!
