Dear Colleagues,

Happy New Year! Hope this email finds you all well.

The London, Kent, Surrey & Sussex Regional Searching Guidance is out now! It's available on the KSS wiki here:

https://sites.google.com/site/healthliteraturesearchers/Home/search-guidance

It’s meant for all library services staff that perform evidence searches, especially new professionals, so please use it and share it with everyone!

Thanks again for all the feedback so many of you provided already. Keep it coming though please, we’re keen to hear how it gets used and how we can improve it.

We’ll be discussing the guidance and much more at the next London Searching and Training Forum (LSTF, formerly CLIST) meeting on Friday 21/2/20 at Stewart House, Russell Square, 10am – 4pm. You’re invited! Spread the word.

Please find below and attached the draft agenda, let me know if you'd like to attend, and if like anything to be added to the agenda. Our Terms of Reference are also attached, if you’d like to learn more about the group.

I’ve pencilled-in a search clinic section as part of the morning, so let me know if you’ve any tricky searches for the hive-mind.

The afternoon session will be a presentation from Ovid’s Rani Southern-Darbar, giving us a tour/showcase and  taking us through some advanced search tips and tricks: again let me know if there’s anything in particular you’d like them to cover.

Friday 21/2/20/19, 10.00 – 16.00

Room 25, Events Centre, 1st Floor, Stewart House

Attending:  Adam Tocock (Chair), Violet Meier, Morag Clarkson, Roberta Wiseman, Fiona Watson, Stephen Reid
