Dear all
Magdalen College Library and Archive: exhibition ‘Women and Power? A Magdalen Story’
Special lecture series 2020
Magdalen College Library and Archive are pleased to invite you to attend two events in spring 2020 which accompany the current Old Library exhibition ‘Women and Power? A Magdalen Story’ which marks 40 years of co-education here.
This exhibition drew heavily on the College’s oral history project, and three of its participants will take part in the second event to share their experiences of life after Magdalen. The first talk puts the Magdalen experience into a broader historical
context, one which is relevant to other Oxbridge colleges as well as educational institutions elsewhere.
Attendance is free but booking is required via
[log in to unmask] (or call 01865 276045).
Each session starts with a talk, and is followed by free drinks/nibbles and an opportunity to view the exhibition in the Old Library (also open to all on Wednesday afternoons 2.00-4.30pm).
