The City of Red Deer Archives staff has been working diligently to help bring Red Deer's past into the hands of future generations. 

On January 22nd, they publicly launched the first foray into a new Digital Archive Collection that houses audio, maps and textual records, photographs and even video. 

Jillian Staniec, Archives Coordinator for the City of Red Deer, said this is an exciting step forward in bringing together the community's history with modern technology.
