This year the conference is going to have a number of featured speakers for our plenary sessions. Instead of traditional keynotes this year’s plenary sessions will have different formats and include more than one individual, inviting conversation and collaboration. ALT Annual Survey 2019 - Have your say
The ALT Annual Survey has now been run since 2014 and a number of questions around priority areas have remained unchanged providing an insight into how Learning Technology is used across sectors as well as identifying emerging trends in current a future practice. The Survey provides important insight into how our profession is developing and how our Members are progressing and developing in their professional practice. Call for Chapters: Cases on Active Blended Learning in Higher Education

Active blended learning (ABL) is a pedagogical approach that combines sense-making activities with focused interactions in appropriate learning settings. It encompasses a variety of concepts, methods and techniques, such as collaborative learning, experiential learning, problem-based learning, team-based learning and flipped classrooms. Educators can use ABL to develop learner autonomy, engaging students in knowledge construction, reflection and critique.
