Dear Colleagues,

Robert Gordon University is currently seeking an External Expert for the Professional Teaching Framework (PTF) Experiential Programme.

The PTF Experiential Programme is coordinated by the university's Department for the Enhancement of Learning, Teaching and Access and accredited by Advance HE. The scheme provides supported opportunities for colleagues to achieve fellowship of the Higher Education Academy at Descriptors 1 to 3. The programme has grown significantly in recent years, becoming a popular and highly valued part of RGU's professional development offer for colleagues.

We are looking for an External Expert to support the provision for four years from January 2020. The purpose of the role is to provide external quality assurance for the scheme and to moderate fellowship judgements made by the PTF Panel, which typically meets three times a year.

Applicants should hold either SFHEA or PFHEA and have experience of leading similar provision at another institution, as well as making fellowship judgements at D1-3.

To apply, please email a CV and brief statement of interest to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> by Friday 20 December.

Best regards,

Dr Rachel McGregor
