Hi all,

In case you're interested there are a couple of project posts being advertised for the Subject Specialist Network (SSN) Consortium. This is a group that NatSCA has been involved in since it started and we're delighted to see the increasing traction that the Consortium is gaining. These posts are intended to help further the aims of the Consortium, which include amplifying the collective voice of subject specialists in the sector and making it easier to find resources and coordinate activity with our colleagues.

I'd also like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very merry festive season and a happy and healthy New Year!

Cheers!

Paolo

Dear all,

Funded by a successful Art Fund Curatorial Network Grant, the SSN Consortium will deliver a project over the coming year which aims to raise awareness in subject specialist network activity, increase the advice and guidance available for those setting up or developing SSNs, and provide a strategic direction to ensure the Consortium, and with it the SSNs, are sustainable into the future.

As a result, we’re looking to recruit new members to our team:

SSN Consortium Coordinator

The role of the Coordinator will be to support the development of the SSN Consortium over the next year. It will be a crucial piece of activity which supports the Consortium to work together to create a clear strategy and long-term plan including opportunities for investment; and to increase awareness of the consortium across the sector and partners through our digital engagement and awareness raising.

Digital Content Developer

The SSN Consortium has recognised the need to establish high-quality digital advice and guidance on its  website (www.subjectspecialistnetworks.org.uk) which enables a) the new creation of an SSN; b) the development of an SSN; and c) the long-term resilience of an SSN. The role of the Digital Content Developer will be to create a suite of resources to support this activity.

These roles may be delivered by an individual or organisation.
