There is also the Costume Studio in Balls Pond Rd London N1.
The only thing with hiring is that the costumes are likely to get a bit of rough treatment with being taken on and off and if they arrived back damaged you would be liable for any repair that the hire company deem caused by this.
I know for managing the dressing up sessions at HRP that they can get ripped or torn particularly in the sleeve.
You might get lucky with those places that do" the drop in and have a Historical photo " thing - I know there was one in the Trocadero in Piccadilly Circus there is also one in Brompton road, they are probably designed to be easy for people put on and take off.
The HRP ones were a combination of children's dressing up stuff that you can buy online and adult ones that were no longer in good enough condition to be used for Live Interpretation.

I’m a bit out of the loop. Where is the best place to hire dressing up costume from in London? We want some Victorian outfits for adults and children to try on at an event and pose for a photo. Ideally relatively affordable.
