I have a copy of THE MOUNTAINS OF MOURNE, didn't really get it at all, though I found it striking.  Are there any interviews where you talk about surrealists?

A small artist chapbook, titled “TRAVEL,” with

words and drawings by Séamas Cain, has been

included in a group-exhibition at THE CENTRE

GABRIELLE BERNARD in Jemeppe-sur-Sambre

in Belgium.  The opening will be celebrated on the

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 6, 7, and 8 December 2019.

This exhibition has been organized by the AJR :

“Artistes Jemeppois Réunis” at Jemeppe-sur-Sambre.

(Gabrielle Bernard was a Belgian poet of interest.)

My thanks to Francis Brosteaux, Sylvianne Maes,

and Eliane Ypersiel, the coordinators of this exhibition.

This exhibition will include a number of smaller works :

including small prints, small photographs, miniature

sculptures, miniature engravings, and poetry éditions.

Jemeppe-sur-Sambre is an old Walloon municipality

located in the Belgian province of Namur.  It stands

at the confluence of the Meuse and Sambre rivers.

Séamas Cain, on Friday and Saturday, 6 and 7 December 2019, will participate in the Northampton Book Arts Fair in western Massachusetts.  This Fair will constitute itself as a CELEBRATION OF THE BOOK : including Artists' books; Antiquarian books; Paper and Board ephemera; Fine Letterpress printing; Artist's book-bindings; Fine Papermaking, etc.

Séamas Cain will orientate with the displays of Kathleen Pew and Monroe Bridge Books. Kathleen is a specialist in Gaelic literature.  Three books by Séamas Cain 
 in Scottish Gaelic or Irish Gaelic  will be available at the Fair from Kathleen and Monroe Bridge Books.  These books have been inscribed by the author.

This Fair will take place at the Northampton Community Arts Trust, located at 33 Hawley Street in city-centre Northampton, Massachusetts.

ADMISSION IS FREE.

Hours for the Fair will be 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday; 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.

The International Encyclopedia of Surrealism is a three volume work published by Bloomsbury in London and edited by Michael Richardson, Dawn Ades, Krzysztof Fijalkowski, Steven Harris and Georges Sebbag.  These three volumes survey the whole history of surrealism, not just the First Generation.  As an encyclopedia, this work includes contributions from more than one hundred specialists in the subject.  Marcus Williamson, in London, has become quite skilled for his biographies of Surrealist poets and artists.
