Foreign and Commonwealth Office records release programme

An opportunity to hear about the FCO’s programme for releasing its historical records to The National Archives. The FCO Departmental Records Officer, Simon Marsh, and members of the Archive Management Team will describe how FCO records are prioritised for review under the Public Records Act and how these records are selected, sensitivity reviewed and prepared before transfer. FCO will also explain current work on reviewing its digital records. There will be time to ask the FCO questions about its release programme.
