Bristol Clinical Trials and Evaluation Unit (CTEU), part of the newly formed Bristol Trials Centre, is seeking a Senior Research Associate (Medical Statistician) to join our thriving multi-disciplinary team of over 60 staff, including 7 statisticians. Bristol CTEU undertakes studies in cardiac surgery, cardiovascular medicine, identification and management of hospital-acquired infections, obesity surgery and ophthalmology. The successful applicant will provide statistical support and guidance into the validation, analysis, reporting and publication of data collected for randomised controlled trials (RCTs) and observational studies, and contribute to the design and set up of future studies. Candidates should have a background in statistics or another relevant discipline, be proficient in statistical software, have the ability to work independently and as part of a team and have excellent communication skills.
