Networking continues; monthly Lunch-and-Learn sessions, complementing the visitors and software-show-tell events. 3. Industrial Metrology sessions continue culminating with Royce Institute hosting the dimensional-XCT 2020 event. Linked to support for the BSI/ISO standardisation process (ISO/TC 213/WG 10) 4. CCPi is on the governance board for Warwick, WMG “EPSRC Strategic Equipment - High Speed CT” EP/S010076/1 (initial meeting on 5 September 2019 – presentation planned for January 2020) 5. The project will focus on the “Development of spinal cord PET-MRI for translational neuroscience”. The PhD researcher will join both the Universities of Sheffield & Leeds. More information can be found here: https://www.findaphd.com/phds/project/mrc-dimen-doctoral-training-partnership-development-of-spinal-cord-pet-mri-for-translational-neuroscience-applications/?p114937 Money: - The ImagingBioPro Network has funding available to help stimulate inter-disciplinary research on imaging of orthopaedic and musculoskeletal processes, with a core focus on using the UK’s Large Facilities (e.g. Diamond Light Source, ISIS Neutron Source, and the Central Laser Facilities). - The small grants – DHEs – will cover travel and subsistence costs for a day to a few weeks, normally with a maximum of £750.
