The British Society for the History of Mathematics is pleased to announce the launch of its Biennial Taylor and Francis Early Career Research Prize. The prize, of £1000, is for an essay of up to 8000 words on any aspect of the history of mathematics. An early career researcher is defined to be either (a) a current doctoral student or (b) a person within five years (on 31 December 2019) of having graduated with a doctorate. The closing date for submissions is December 31st 2019.
