Want to learn more about ethical publishing?

The course looks at the main ethical issues that can arise in academic publishing, which could be caused by misbehaving authors, abuse of editorial positions and conflicts between publishers’ and societies’ commercial interests and principles of editorial freedom and integrity. The course will be highly practical and hands on, featuring case studies and lots of time for Q&As.

It will cover how to detect and deal effectively with possible misconduct and show the importance of having sound ethical policies. While the principles and theories covered are applicable across most publication types, some issues covered will be particularly relevant to journals publishing.
