Hi,

We’re actually in the process of doing this too so would also love to hear other people’s thoughts! We’re currently thinking of questionnaires followed by more in depth focus groups…

Subject: Schools Analysis

Afternoon all,

Just wondering if anyone has conducted any research into the schools within your catchment area that don’t regularly attend your museum or heritage site.

We are beginning to target that category of schools, but before we do, we’d like to know why they might not want to be coming. I just wondered if anyone had any experience of doing the same. What methods did you use to find out why they might not come – did you run focus groups or questionnaires? Do you have any good suggestions for eliciting this information from them?

Any advice gratefully received!
