The Faculty of Science and Engineering at Manchester Metropolitan University is seeking an External Assessor to attend the Programme Enhancement and Approval Review event for the Certificate of Achievement Engineering Practice programme.

 

We would welcome applications from experienced academics with a strong background in the subject area of Engineering, and an understanding of QAA benchmarks and the FHEQ. The ideal candidate would have:

 

·       experience in designing and managing Undergraduate and Postgraduate Engineering programmes

·       teaching experience on Mechanical/Electronic Engineering courses at Levels 6 and 7

·       a good understanding of the needs of students who want to study for this qualification in the UK

 

The event will take place on Wednesday 27^th November 2019  at Manchester Metropolitan University, lasting around three to four hours, with remuneration £150 plus reasonable expenses.

Please note that External Examiners of Manchester Metropolitan University cannot apply and applicants should not have had close involvement with the University within the last five years.
