The Social Situation Monitor (SSM) team welcomes researchers, analysts and policy-makers to discuss the latest empirical research on changing value chains. This SSM research seminar will take place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Brussels, on Tuesday 17th December 2019 (2pm-6pm). >> Focus of the seminar: Changing value chains and their impact on employment Digital technologies and transition to carbon-neutral society are expected to have a profound impact on value chains, including on employment, working conditions and the size/width of these value chains. However, there is still little research on the significance of this phenomenon.
