Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Social Policy, UCD School of Social Policy, Social Work and Social Justice (Permanent - Commencing 1st September 2020)

Applications are invited for a Permanent (Commencing 1st September 2020) post of a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Social Policy within UCD School of Social Policy, Social Work and Social Justice.

The UCD School of Social Policy, Social Work and Social Justice seeks to appoint a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Social Policy. We welcome applicants with a PhD in social policy or a cognate social science discipline (e.g. sociology, political science, economics, public administration) and a record of research and publishing in this field.

The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to social policy teaching on the Bachelor of Social Science (BSocSc) degree and other interdisciplinary teaching across the School of Social Policy, Social Work and Social Justice. S/he will also undertake social policy research, knowledge generation and publication dissemination of research, and carry out administrative functions as identified by the Head of School.

95 Lecturer/Asst Professor Above The Bar Salary Scale: €53,773 - €84,544 per annum. 
Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
