there was a session on this topic at last years communicate conference in Bristol, I work for an NGO on an area which can be contentious and difficult to communicate and the session was very helpful.
Hi all,
I am looking for some advice/resources for academics who are engaging in areas of research that can be considered controversial.
The focus is less on the actual content of the public engagement activity (although this would be helpful!), but more how to deal with difficult conversations and reactions – both online and in person.
Any help would be much appreciated!
Best wishes,
Katie
