I would like to put out another call for people interested in participating in 3 Minute Wonder. Please pass this message on via any channels that you think might be interested in taking part:
3 Minute wonder (3mw) is open to early career researchers (both Academic and Industrial) and challenges them to explain their work in 3 minutes.
The north east heat is running at the Stand Comedy club in Newcastle on the 5th of November, remember remember the 5th of November for it is 3 minute wonder, 8pm till 10pm.
There will be a training event in Newcastle on the 28th of October so you don't have to a have a fully formed idea of what you are going to say at this point.
The winner of the North East heat will get promoted to the national final in London next year as well as a cash prize for winning the heat. To make a real night of the event we are also finishing off with a show by the wonderful Marty Jopson.
