PSYCHED! is a new series of science engagement live theatre events for a general audience - with interactive discussion on the psychology of human behaviour. Each standalone event features cutting-edge science, experimentation and practical advice. These cabaret-style,
science salon evenings give an insider’s look at how evolution affects the way you think, feel and behave. Each event encourages audience participation (but requires no background knowledge) and is suitable for ages 18+ Tickets are £9 and include a beverage.
PSYCHED! talks are hosted by Dr Gilly Forrester (director of the Me, Human Project), Professor Catherine Loveday (regular contributor to BBC radio ‘How to Make a Better Brain’) and Dr Simon Green (everyone’s favourite Birkbeck psychology lecturer).
PSYCHED! kicks off with 'You Make Me Sick' on 24th October-focusing on disgust in the modern world - followed by 'Blah Blah Blah' on 28th November - taking a look at why human language took millions of years to emerge, yet babies are born ‘language ready’.
PSYCHED! happens at City Lit’s John Lyon's Theatre in Covent Garden. Find out more and book tickets here:
