London PUS Seminar

4.15pm, Wednesday 30th October 2019

Key findings from the Wellcome Global Monitor, Ethan Greenwood, Wellcome Trust.

Abstract:

In 2018 Wellcome commissioned Gallup, as part of their Worldpoll to ask a series of questions on attitudes to science and health. The Wellcome Global Monitor, the largest survey of such attitudes represents adult populations in over 140 countries. Its key themes are awareness of science, trust in scientists and other institutions, perceived benefits of science to the individual and society and trust in vaccines. The presentation will also look at how the findings differ by demographics and region.

Presenter: Ethan Greenwood is the Wellcome Global Monitor project manager. He has worked at Wellcome for five years, initially managing the UK Monitor.
