Hi Jon, Alice, Would be really interested to hear your findings if you don’t mind sharing. My own rejoinder to you would be - is your institution clear about what is driving your desire for a green digital strategy? Does the institution want to reduce its carbon footprint, or are there also objectives around re-use of systems, software and hardware? Is there an ethical objective at governance level about digital, to manage reliance/dependence on Google and Facebook? Is the institution joining up the need to reduce carbon emissions with the need to be digitally resilient, ie considering de-centralised infrastructure (local servers) versus cloud servers? Those are the headings I'm looking at in broad terms for my own research, but my paper in January will focus more on ethics and ethical systems in Museums.
