Hi All,

I’m investigating e-book platforms which allow a user to do a text-search across and within e-books. For example, I just looked at a platform but it only permitted the searching of titles, and once you ‘opened’ an e-book you could not then search the text within it. I need something that does text-searching across a non-fiction e-book collection and permits searching text within the book (a bit like Google Books really).

Has anyone got a database they could recommend and if so how effective do you find it? We have been using Questia but the publisher is pulling the plug on it next year and I need something to replace it.

Best wishes,

Emily
