With significant investment from the University for a new Undergraduate Teaching Laboratory (opened Sept. 2018) and a Molecular Sciences Research Building (opening
in Summer 2022), the School of Chemistry at The University of Birmingham is entering an exciting period and has ambitious plans to grow its research activity. After a successful recruitment round for junior positions earlier this year, the School now invites
applications for a Senior Lecturer / Reader in the broad area of Supramolecular Chemistry / Inorganic Chemistry / Catalysis.
The successful applicant will be expected to contribute at a senior level, and on a sustained basis, to the whole range of research, teaching, leadership and administration
activities within the School, and should have an established national and developing international reputation through significant original research of exceptional quality, and a clear record of generating impact, and/or designing and developing significant
innovative underpinning technologies.
