Dear GEM members,

we are currently renovating one of the oldest and most popular learning spaces of our Museum, dedicated to Chemistry. We will be designing a new space as well as new contents and methods to explore Chemistry as part of our everyday life trying to overcome some of the stereotypes.

We are looking around for other museums, in the UK or elsewhere, that can be of inspiration for programmes and experiences that are highly experimental and participatory. Do you have suggestions?

We are also looking for examples of museums or other institutions working on colour but addressed from the point of view of chemistry (and not physics, ie perception). In other words we would like to explore colour as material, as composition and materiality, as something to manipulate and create with, mess around with.
Any suggestions here too?

Thank you for your help.
