The University of Cumbria are currently reviewing our processes, including fees payable, relating to the appointment and payment of External Panel Members (EPMs) and it would be helpful to receive information from other HEI’s such as:

 

·         how much does your institution pay for external panel members?

·         how much does your institution allow for expenses for external panel members? 

·         does your institution pay EPMs through PAYE (i.e. as a staff member) or via other means? 

·         does your institution require Right to Work checks for EPMs?  If so, how are these undertaken?
