FEATURED - OER20 Conference: Call for proposals now open

We are delighted to announce that the OER20 Call for Proposals in now open. The 2020 conference will be held from 1-2 April 2020, in London, and is themed around Care In Openess. Covering issues of privilege, equity, precarity, power relations and public interest, OER20 will put the spotlight on both the value and limitations of care in open education. Using learning technologies to support inclusive learning, teaching and assessment and addressing attainment gaps, University of Bedfordshire, 8 Nov 2019

Digital Skills Provision for Teaching Staff (HE) survey

The Bloomsbury Learning Exchange is developing a digital skills awareness course for teaching staff, and we’re interested in finding out what universities around the country are doing to assess and prepare their new staff for working with the digital tools and environments they are expected to use. Call for Chapter Proposals: Critical Digital Pedagogy – Broadening Horizons, Bridging Theory and Practice

We are excited to announce the call for proposals for an edited collection on the intersection of critical pedagogy and digital technologies in post-secondary and higher education contexts. We invite submissions which explore critical digital pedagogy in context through case studies and/or reflective accounts of practice. To ensure consistency between the book chapters, all proposals should address the following in their submissions: (i) how critical pedagogy is enacted in practice, (ii) the role of digital technologies in this practice, and (iii) lessons learned/implications.
