At 4TU.ResearchData we adapted the Australian and New Zealand Standard Research Classification (ANZSRC) to classify all the datasets we have ingested (mainly in technical sciences). ANZSRC offered the best mix of wide-ranging coverage (broad subject areas)
and depth (ie more specific subjects within a broader family)
