I love this poem, as it progressed from being rooted and grounded to flight, almost a life journey.
These phrases in particular:
"We halfway occupy these bodies choiced to transcend"

and 
"Light treetops its way toward whiter light"  !!!!


And that ending? Filled me with new life and astonishment.
