italian-studies: Scholarly discussions in any field of Italian studies Dear colleagues,

gender/sexuality/italy 6, 2019 is now online. g/s/i is a scholarly, double-blind peer-reviewed international journal. This issue includes a special Themed Section titled “Queer Italian Cultures,” edited by QuIR Italia co-creators Julia Heim, Charlotte Ross, and SA Smythe, with articles by Eva Nossem, Matthew Zundel, Alberica Bazzoni, Michela Baldo, Danila Cannamela, and Samuele Grassi.

The invited Perspectives, Edited by Paola Bonifazio, showcase practitioners’ works, reflections, and interviews, and a philosophical reflection on motherhood.

The Open Contributions, edited by Ellen Nerenberg, include articles by Paola D’Amora and Ioana Raluca Larco, while the Continuing Discussions section, also edited by Ellen Nerenberg, features an article by Christopher Atwood.

An ample section of book reviews, film reviews and the newly introduced television series reviews close this very rich issue of g/s/i.

All the articles and reviews are open access to foster communication within and outside the academia.

The table of contents includes active links to the articles.
