Hi all,
Sorry for the radio silence – there is information on research frameworks on the Historic England website:
https://historicengland.org.uk/research/support-and-collaboration/research-frameworks-typologies/research-frameworks/
There is a spreadsheet on there, which does need updating, and which I am on the case.
The aim is that all the research frameworks will be on a new digital platform – which is currently in BETA testing at the moment. The first updated research frameworks to go on the platform
are the North West, East Midlands, East of England, North East and South Yorkshire. Information on other frameworks will also be available on the website.
The website will provide better access to the research frameworks, enable cross searching of research questions and strategic objectives and will in the future include a feed from OASIS. I
will let everyone know when the site is up and running.
Watch this space… and if anyone would like more information please drop me an email.
Best wishes
Dan

Hi, NE is in the process of undergoing updates as part of 3 regional HE pilots - docs to date available online via
NERRF II (top link). The original text is linked and works via
http://www.durham.gov.uk/media/1551/Shared-Visions-North-East-Regional-Research-Framework-for-the-Historic-Environment/pdf/SharedVisionsNERegionalResearchFrameworkHistoricEnvironment.pdf
Yorkshire 2005 is attached.
If ALGAO links are broken, and I'm sure many people like me have historically linked to their portal, a suggestion might be to migrate the legacy documents to ADS, and ALGAO can then cross-link?
One of the major suggestions was for a consistent platform/portal for all Frameworks.

Subject: Regional Research Frameworks
As part of some research I am doing I wanted to check the EH Regional Research Frameworks. Checking online there was a link to ALGAO
website with a link to all 7 of the frameworks -
https://www.algao.org.uk/england/research_frameworks . Unfortunately only 2 of the 7 links work (well done East of England and the South-East!). I have found a link to the East Midlands frameworks. Does anyone know of links to North East, North-West, West
Midlands, and South-West.
Thanks,
Mike
