The University of Derby is seeking to appoint an External Examiner with effect from 01st October
2019.
Ideally, interested applicants should have current experience/very recent experience of external examining at other
Higher Education Institutions, but this is not compulsory as a 'mentor' can be assigned (an existing EE currently appointed
from a similar programme of study here at the university).
The vacancy is for an External Examiner for;
BA (Hons) Applied Studies (Creative Digital Media) (Top-up), which operates from the Vision West Nottinghamshire College site, in Mansfield.

Please note that we are unable to accept applications from you if:
You are a current external examiner within the University of Derby or have been, in the previous four years, if you have served
a four year term with us previously.
You are currently professionally involved with members of the programme team
You have been employed within the previous five years by the University or at one of its
associate institutions.
This will be a four year tenure. You will be expected to attend the College itself and attend the University of Derby for visit(s) and attendance at an assessment board etc..... travel, subsistence
/ any reasonable expenses and a fee, will be paid.
