Dear colleagues

We are looking for a short contribution to fill a gap in a new book on
Britain’s urban crisis to be published by Anthem Press early next year.
Urban Crisis, Urban Hope, consists of a series of paired articles, one from
an academic and one from an activist or practitioner, on particular issues
facing Britain’s cities and setting out an agenda for action.

We are looking for an academic with research interests across any relevant
discipline to write a provocation of 1500 words by the end of September on
the public health crisis facing Britain’s cities, and the potential for
change through alternative approaches to community wellbeing. We would
particularly welcome contributions from people who can bring a minority or
subaltern perspective, and/or from early career researchers.
