Dear Scholars,
The translation of a Medieval manuscript page has revealed the record of a rare Mediterranean plant, from c. 1444. The plant is Atropa baetica, which is now endangered and included on the IUCN Red List. It was used in all manner of 'magical' remedies of the time and place. You may freely download a paper giving the translation and additional information: https://ling.auf.net/lingbuzz/004797

It should be of interest to anyone studying Mediterranean medicinal botany, so please disseminate the link as you like.
Kindest regards,
