Thanks for mentioning this, Adrian. This is important for a reason beyond HTCondor-CE accounting. The setting of "local/non-bdii benchmarks" is necessary (with _any_ CE/batch system combination) if the BDII is ever discontinued, e.g. if we move to JSON Information System (work in progress.) APEL client version 1.8.1-1 removes the APEL client's dependency on the BDII. It might be worth moving to apel-lib-1.8.1-1, apel-client-1.8.1-1 and apel-parsers-1.8.0-1 before it becomes necessary.
