REMINDER - STFC Consultation on UK Dark Matter Research - CLOSES 16TH SEPTEMBER 2019

STFC is currently undertaking a strategic review of dark matter research in the UK to establish a clear strategy for longer term investment that maintains a UK presence at the cutting edge of the field, takes into account future opportunities, and possibly leads to hosting a 3rd Generation instrument. This review will consider the 2012 Strategic Review of Dark Matter, how the recommendations from that review have been implemented; the current programme and recommend a strategy for future investment.

As part of the review, the panel wishes to consult the community on its views of the field. Please note, the review is considering dark matter research in its broadest sense and is therefore not limited to considering direct dark matter research.

The online consultation can be found here: https://stfc.onlinesurveys.ac.uk/community-consultation-on-dark-matter-research

Responses are welcome from both collaborations/groups and individuals, and will be treated by the panel in confidence.  The deadline for responses to the consultation is 16 September 2019
