Slingsby used to sell a great 2 shelf blue trolley, make sure you get one with swivel wheels so you can steer it
And a small lip on the two short sides and one long sides stops stuff sliding off if you are also using it as a standing height laptop workstation

I managed to wangle something like this – though I cant find the exact website we got it from;

I am in love with it.

It is  sensible height (so no bad back bending over lower trolleys when working at it) and it corners like a dream (which is handy in collections spaces).

Subject: Museum trolley recommendations

Hi All,

Looking for a new general purpose two tier trolley for moving various NH specimens between rooms.

I would be delighted for your recommendations re: trolleys and suppliers which bring great happiness and those that should be avoided at all costs.

Yours hopefully

Jeanne
