Just found out that NHS Digital is trialling an AI based  chatbot software on its website to help clinicians and researchers find their published data more easily -   NHS Digital’s Virtual Data Assistant (ViDA) . (News release in Digital Health)

 

The big drawback is that it only covers material published by NHS digital.  I looked for data on lung cancer referrals, and got the National Lung Cancer Audit, which is great but the latest on NHS Digital is 2014. The audits are now published on HQIP and go up to 2018.

The system is in beta until 18 October 2019 -  do have a go and leave your feedback.
