Hi Robin Just having a quick look at what was chapter 6 in Version 5 and now chapter 4 in version 6 of the handbook – the section on searching, and I can’t help but think that there have been some quite substantial changes to the text. They both layout very basic and sensible principles of approaching, planning, conducting and reporting systematic reviews. Some of the specific methods and tools have changed a bit in that time, but these guides are still invaluable. *In any case, the 2011 edition of the Cochrane Handbook remains the most-up-to-date version in the public domain until October 2019.
