The Faculty of Life Sciences at the University of Bradford is looking for two individuals to undertake the role of external examiner for the Master of Pharmacy programme. The appointments are for a 4-year period, beginning September 2019.
The Master of Pharmacy is offered as a 4-year programme, and also as a 5-year programme which leads to qualification as a pharmacist. Further information about the programme, which is delivered predominantly by Team-Based Learning (TBL),

An overview of your role and responsibilities will include:
Confirming the comparability of standards of student performance at the University of Bradford with those at other UK Institutions of Higher Education; confirming that the assessment process is sound, and has been fairly conducted; reporting
and advising by means of approving assessment tasks and moderating samples of student work; attending Boards of Examiners and providing an annual report to the University.
Applicants should have appropriate academic expertise in Pharmacy, with experience of developing and assessing professional portfolios together with integrated forms of assessment, be able to undertake a role in the assurance of academic
standards in Higher Education and should be aware of modern developments in the design and delivery of the flexible curriculum.
Applicants should not hold more than one other UK Higher Education External Examiner post at the start of the contract and be qualified to at least the level of the programme to be examined.
