[cid:image001.jpg@01D559A5.7EABEC90] Colleagues The Department of Media, Design and Technology at the University of Bradford is looking for a dedicated individual or individuals to undertake the role of external examiner for these programmes: 1. BSc (Hons) Game Design and Development 2. BA (Hons) Graphics for Games 3. BSc (Hons) Animation to commence as soon as possible. An overview of your role and responsibilities includes: * Confirming the comparability of standards of student performance at University of Bradford with those of similar modules at other UK Institutions of Higher Education; * confirming that the assessment process in its entirety is sound, and has been fairly conducted with full regard to justice to students; * reporting and advising on the above by means of approving coursework and examination papers; * moderating a sample of work; * attend Boards of Examiners as appropriate; * providing an annual report to the University. The applicant needs several years of lecturing experience, supported by professional industry background. HEA Fellowship is highly recommended. You should not hold more than one other UK Higher Education External Examiner post at the start of the contract and be qualified to at least the level of the programme to be examined. Your fee will be competitive and scaled to your workload, and expenses are available.
