Job Opportunity: Collections Assistant (Architectural Association)
Salary: £27,000 per annum

Role Overview: The Collections Assistant is a dual role based in the Architectural Association’s Archives and Library. The post-holder will be responsible for providing professional support and high-quality reader services and assisting with the management, cataloguing and digitisation of the AA Archives and serials management in the AA Library. In addition, the role involves supervising access to the collections, responding to enquiries and overseeing the work of student assistants and volunteers. The job also requires the applicant to assist with outreach activities and communication across the collections. The work of the AA Library and Archives complement each other and this role is envisaged as helping to further develop synergy between the two departments. Applicants must demonstrate flexibility, self-motivation and a willingness to learn.
