Hi

I have been going through the ICO Safeguards Policy – special categories of personal data and criminal convictions (https://ico.org.uk/about-the-ico/our-information/safeguards-policy/safeguards-policy-special-categories-of-personal-data-and-criminal-convictions/) on their website.  Under the heading ‘Employment, social care and social protection’ they state that ‘s. 10 (2) Data Protection Act 2018 sets out that the processing meets the requirement in point (b) only if it meets a condition (or purpose) in Part 2 of Schedule 1.

Surely this should be Part 1 of Schedule 1.  Am I missing something or have ICO got it wrong and they go on to list the incorrect purposes?

Regards
