Dear Colleagues,

We are seeking 7 new members to join the Work, Employment and Society Editorial Board and serve for three years from January 2020 to December 2022. Applications must be submitted by Thursday 19 September 2019, 17:00 (BST).

About the Editorial Board

WES publishes research on the sociology of work and employment. Applicants are therefore asked to demonstrate a commitment to the general area of sociology as well as to specific areas of expertise. The Editorial Board is a working board, which is important to the day-to-day functioning and overall strategy of this innovative and highly regarded journal.

Editorial Board members are involved in reviewing submissions and advising the Editorial team on the strategic direction of the journal.  On average, members of the Editorial Board receive 16 papers to review each year, depending on their areas of expertise, and are expected to return their reviews within four weeks of receipt.

The Editorial Board meets twice a year. Successful applicants will be invited to attend the next Editorial Board meeting, at the end of January 2020.
